Based on astronomical calculations, the blessed month of Ramadan will begin on Monday, March 11, 2024, and its number will be 30 days, God willing, and the last day of Ramadan 2024 will be Tuesday, April 9, and the beginning of the month of Shawwal and the first astronomical day of Eid al-Fitr 2024 will be on Wednesday, April 10.

 

Fasting hours in Jordan

According to the prayer times of the Jordanian Ministry of Endowments, the dawn call to prayer on March 11 will be at 5:30 am , and the sunset call to prayer at 6:48 pm , so that the total hours of fasting on the first day of the holy month will be 13:18 hours .

As for April 9, which is the last day of the holy month of Ramadan astronomically, the dawn call to prayer will be at 04:50 AM , and the Maghrib call to prayer will be at 07:08 PM , so that the total hours of fasting will be 14:18 hours .
