Arab Weather - Computer simulation results at the Arab Weather Center indicate that the Kingdom will be affected by cold and humid westerly air currents on Friday, March 27, 2026, which will lead to improved chances of rainfall in the northern and central regions, in addition to its continuation at intervals in Karak and Tafila.

Cold and humid air currents will affect the Kingdom tomorrow, God willing.

Temperatures on Friday are expected to be 8 to 10 degrees Celsius below average for this time of year, with cold and unsettled weather ranging from partly cloudy to occasionally cloudy, with intermittent rain in the northern and central regions, as well as the governorates of Karak and Tafila, and possibly extending at times to some areas west of Ma’an, in addition to parts of the eastern regions.

This is also accompanied by the formation of fog as a result of low clouds passing near the ground, leading to a decrease in horizontal visibility, especially over mountainous areas.

A noticeable increase in wind speed is also expected on Friday, especially during the afternoon hours, as westerly winds will be active in several areas, accompanied by strong gusts that may exceed 70 km/h, particularly in the eastern plains and eastern desert regions, which may lead to dust storms in the far east of the Kingdom and desert areas that have not recently experienced rainfall.

Friday/Saturday night weather

During the evening and early night hours of Friday, the weather will remain generally cold, with a chance of some rain in limited areas. However, these chances will gradually decrease during the late night hours and dawn of Saturday, as the weather tends to stabilize, cloud cover decreases, and the weather becomes clear in all areas.

Wind speeds also gradually decrease during the night, becoming light and variable in direction.
