The National Center for Meteorology in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia warned of an unstable weather condition expected on Saturday, April 11, 2026, affecting a number of regions of the Kingdom, with chances of thunderstorms of varying intensity that may be heavy at times, accompanied by lightning and thunder , and the possibility of hail showers , in addition to downdraft activity and local dust waves in some areas.

The southwestern regions of the Kingdom are the most affected.

According to forecasts, the southwestern regions of the Kingdom are expected to be more affected, including Jazan, Asir and Al-Baha , where thunderstorms may occur , sometimes heavy , accompanied by lightning, thunder and hail in some locations.

The forecast also indicates a possible increase in the risk of flash floods and torrents in some areas as a result of heavy rainfall.

The situation has spread to other areas

Rain chances also extend, God willing, to parts of central and southern Riyadh , in addition to limited parts of the Eastern Province and the Northern Borders region , with varying intensity of weather conditions from one area to another.

The National Center for Meteorology called for caution and vigilance during the weather conditions , especially in areas prone to heavy rain and flash floods , while following updates issued by official authorities on a regular basis.
