Arab Weather - The latest weather forecasts, based on computer models, indicate that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will gradually be affected in the coming days by a cold air mass that has pushed from the northern regions towards the central region, including the capital, Riyadh, and will continue until the end of the week.

The influence of the cold air mass is increasing over most regions.

The cold air mass is expected to increase its impact on the northern regions of the Kingdom (Northern Borders) and Hail, and its impact will extend on Wednesday to include the regions of Al-Jawf, Hail, Qassim and Hafar Al-Batin, leading to an additional drop in temperatures for the rest of the week, especially during the night hours.

As the cold wave deepens in most regions of the Kingdom, except for the western regions, temperatures drop below normal in Riyadh and most regions. Colder than usual weather prevails in these regions, and may turn very cold at night and early morning hours, with the possibility of frost forming in large parts of the north and north-central regions of the Kingdom, where minimum temperatures approach zero degrees Celsius near the ground surface in the north-central regions, while they are below zero in the northern regions.

Western regions affected by warm winds and thirties temperatures

As for the western regions, especially the coastal parts, it is expected that they will remain far from the impact of the cold wave, as they will be affected by warm easterly winds that will lead to a rise in temperatures on the coastal strip, with temperatures reaching thirties, with strong winds that may stir up dust and dirt and lead to a decrease in horizontal visibility.
