Iraq | An air depression on Monday/Tuesday night and a cold air mass centered in northern Syria

Arab weather - It is expected, God willing, that the northern regions of the country will be affected by an air depression and a cold air mass in the evening and night of Monday/Tuesday, centered over the north of the Syrian lands, where night temperatures drop compared to the previous nights, and the weather is bitterly cold in the northern mountainous heights with the formation of frost and freezing as a result Temperatures drop to about zero degrees Celsius and maybe below that over some parts, while it is cold to very cold in the rest of the regions.

Especially the northern and western ones, with a rise in surface moisture in some areas and dense fog is formed in different areas, especially the northern and southern, and the fog is frozen over the northern peaks.

Large amounts of clouds appear at different heights in many regions, with heavy rain falling on the northern and eastern regions, and heavy snowfall over the high northern peaks.

The winds will be westerly, active, with strong gusts that exceed the 80 km/hour barrier in some areas, causing the continuous formation of dense dust waves over large areas of the country.

Important recommendations from the Arab Weather Center:

• Attention to the danger of running valleys and rising water levels on the roads in the northern regions
• Wearing a coat when leaving the house
• Observe the safe use of heating equipment
• Attention to the danger of slipping on the roads when frost and freezing form in the northern highlands and its impact on the crops
• Be aware of the danger of snow impeding life in the northern peaks and the occurrence of road closures.
