Arab Weather - Based on the latest forecasts from computer models, Arab Weather experts reported that Iraq will witness, in the coming days, the impact of a warm air mass coming from the Arabian Peninsula, which will lead to a rise in temperatures, to be higher than usual in various regions, God willing, in light of the continued absence of the usual air depressions and the significant decrease in rainfall amounts.

Distribution of weather systems keeps depressions away from Iraq

As for the distribution of weather systems, it is expected that the western Mediterranean regions will be under the influence of a cold air mass and a low pressure system at the end of the month, while Iraq will be affected by warmer than usual air currents and temperatures will be higher than the usual rates for this time of year by about 2 to 4 degrees Celsius.

In the northern regions, the weather will be cool, while mild to moderate weather will prevail in the center and south of the country. The winds will be northwesterly and moderate in speed, with maximum temperatures ranging between 18 and 20 degrees Celsius in Baghdad, especially on Thursday and Friday.

Cold weather at night and no changes in weather systems soon

Despite the high temperatures during the day, the weather remains cold at night. The forecast does not indicate any imminent changes in the weather systems, as the strong high pressure system will continue to control the region, which will lead to temperatures remaining above normal rates until at least the end of the month.
