Arab Weather - The latest output of the numerical weather models processed by the Air Operations Department at the Arab Regional Weather Center indicates the control of the autumn weather over the country in the coming days with a decrease in temperatures to become slightly below their rates for this time of the year, and the weather tends to be cold to cold Relatively in the western and northern regions, pleasant in the rest of the regions, with the appearance of clouds at different heights in several parts of the country.

Cool and humid nights with fog formation in some areas

Night temperatures will decrease during the coming nights, and the weather will be very cold in the northern mountainous heights with the formation of frost and freezing in some peaks as a result of the temperatures dropping to nearly zero degrees Celsius, while the weather is cold in many parts of the country, especially the western ones.

Minimum temperatures are less than 9 degrees Celsius over the western and northern regions, while temperatures range between 10 and 12 degrees in the rest of the regions, including the capital, Baghdad, and are much lower in the northern mountains.

Coinciding with the occurrence of a significant and noticeable rise in the percentage of surface humidity to exceed the 90% barrier over some areas, which causes the formation of fog in parts of the country, especially the western and mountainous highlands, and it is not excluded that it will be thick at times, causing a decrease in the range of horizontal visibility.

Northwesterly to variable winds

In the coming days, variable winds will blow in a northwesterly direction, be light to moderate in speed, sometimes active over some areas, working to raise dust and dust when active.

An atmospheric depression in the upper atmosphere causes the continuation of a state of atmospheric instability

Iraq continues to be affected by an air depression in the upper layers of the atmosphere, which causes the emergence of a state of atmospheric instability with an increase in its severity, as amounts of clouds appear at different altitudes, and showers of rain fall on random areas, concentrated in the western and eastern regions and affects the capital Baghdad in some periods, It is not excluded that the rain will be heavy at times in narrow geographical ranges, accompanied by thunderstorms and hail showers, which leads to large flows of valleys and the formation of sudden torrents, on Sunday and Monday, with the return of the weather to stability as of Tuesday.

• Staying away from and not being in the stomachs of valleys, torrents and reefs due to the high risk of their flow in some areas.
• Attention to the risk of reduced horizontal visibility due to dense fog in some areas.
