Weather of Arabia - Sinan Khalaf - A group of archival photos taken by the Bapco Oil Company in the Kingdom of Bahrain half a century ago show the severest frost wave recorded in Bahrain's history.

 

These photos date back to the end of January 1964, when temperatures dropped below zero degrees Celsius, to record minus 5 degrees Celsius in Awali, Bahrain.
