Weather of Arabia - The Jeddah Governorate Municipality launched activities to celebrate the 93rd Saudi National Day, “We Dream and Achieve,” throughout the governorate, through a series of activities targeting all age groups.
Three activities will be launched today, including three-dimensional displays of the 93rd National Day identity, and will last for three days, at both the western and eastern gates of the city road, and Nawras Square.
On the same day, the Jeddah Municipality will also light up the main municipality building, the sub-municipalities of Taibah and Obhur, the squares of “The Globe, the Lamp, the Nucleus, the Desalination, and Prince Abdul Majeed,” Al-Salam Street, and the Middle Corniche, in green for three days, in addition to an expressive mural about the homeland in the square. Tomorrow, Al-Yamamah Walk will witness a parade of horse riders carrying the Saudi flag and in Saudi uniforms, for two days, with the installation of interactive lighting on the horse track on the square, in addition to raising the Saudi flag in the main streets and roads for three days.
The King Abdul Aziz Cultural Center in Abraq Al-Raghama welcomes families to enjoy various folk arts, in addition to a children’s band, interactive games, competitions and gifts in the center’s children’s theater.
Activities to celebrate the 93rd Saudi National Day will continue until September 23, when Prince Majid Park will witness the participation of a folk arts troupe, and a children’s theater that includes a children’s troupe, interactive games, competitions and gifts.
The secretariat’s activities include launching an initiative to plant 93 seedlings in 18 locations in conjunction with National Day as part of its efforts to promote positive behaviors to preserve the nation’s environment, protect the environment and improve the quality of life, while the Neighborhood Centers Association will participate in 43 diverse activities that will include cultural, sporting and artistic events in addition to visits to patients.
