Jordan: Areas with minimum temperatures reaching 10°C this weekend

Arab Weather - Meteorologists at the Arab Weather Regional Center said that temperature maps show that minimum temperatures, recorded minutes after sunrise, are expected to drop further in the coming days. Consequently, the weather will be relatively cold across various regions of the Kingdom during the early morning hours, particularly over the high mountain peaks, particularly the southern ones, as well as the eastern plains.

Minimum temperatures will reach 10 degrees Celsius in several areas.

The latest numerical model outputs indicate that minimum temperatures will range between 12 and 14 degrees Celsius over the high mountain peaks, including the capital, Amman, while minimum temperatures will be around 10 degrees Celsius over the peaks of the Shara Mountains and the eastern plains, amid cool but refreshing weather.

Recommendations for wearing a coat to cope with the relative coolness in the early morning hours

The weather then (i.e., after midnight and early morning) becomes unsuitable for outdoor gatherings due to the combination of cold weather conditions and high relative humidity, as well as occasional active northwesterly winds. Therefore, Arab Weather recommends wearing a light coat to accommodate the relatively cool weather during the dawn and early morning hours in the high mountainous areas and eastern plains.
