Jordan: Beware of weather fluctuations in the coming days

Arab Weather – The latest computer simulation outputs at the Arab Weather Center indicate that the Kingdom will be affected in the coming days by a clear and sharp state of temperature fluctuations, which necessitates paying attention to the large temperature differences, in addition to the activity of winds that stir up dust and sand in the desert regions and the eastern Badia.

Weather experts at the Arab Weather Center said that on Tuesday and Wednesday, temperatures will be higher than average for this time of year, with warm weather prevailing in most areas, becoming hot during the afternoon hours, especially in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba.

A clear and significant wind activity is expected, which will be strong in the desert areas and the eastern Badia, leading to renewed sandstorms and dust waves in various desert areas of the south and east of the Kingdom, including the desert road, the Baghdad International Road, the Badia Road and all border crossings, causing a significant decrease and perhaps a complete lack of horizontal visibility for temporary periods.

Experts at the Arab Weather Operations Center added that the Kingdom will begin to be affected, starting from the hours of Wednesday/Thursday night , by an air mass colder than usual for this time of year, which will cause a noticeable and clear decrease in temperatures, with the atmosphere turning cold, especially during the night and dawn hours in various regions. Gradually, amounts of low clouds will appear, especially during the late night and dawn hours, and may be accompanied by a chance of rain in parts of the north of the Kingdom and perhaps limited areas of the center.

Thursday will be colder than usual for this time of year.

And on Thursday the influence of the aforementioned air mass will increase, as temperatures will drop more noticeably, making the weather pleasant during the day and tending to be cold over the mountains, with the continued appearance of low clouds and the activity of westerly winds, God willing.
