Arab Weather - The Kingdom has recently experienced normal summer weather with a complete absence of heat waves, in stark contrast to previous years when the Kingdom was hit by several heat waves as summer approached. This is due to a number of factors that, God willing, resulted in the Kingdom being protected from heat waves.
God willing, the Kingdom is expected to remain on the edge of the hot air masses present in the north of the Arabian Peninsula until the last third of July. Therefore, the general characteristic of the weather will be that it is a normal summer weather during the daytime hours, with temperatures in the early 30s Celsius in the mountains. The weather will quickly become pleasantly warm in the evening and night hours, with the activity of the northwesterly winds.
The weather forecasting team at the Arab Weather Center began to notice successive indicators of a change in the weather systems that have dominated the region since the beginning of the current summer season, starting with the last third of July 2025, after the 19th of the month, as the chances of the Kingdom being affected by the extension of what is called the subtropical high pressure system, which is accompanied by the expansion of hot air masses present in the north of the Arabian Peninsula towards the region increase, and thus:
The Kingdom is likely to be affected by the first hot air masses this month, which may be the hottest since the beginning of summer.
Temperatures will rise to at least 5 degrees Celsius above average, and the weather will become hotter.
The Arab Weather Center's weather forecasting team confirms that the timeframe is still relatively distant, and forecasts are subject to radical change. We are providing these forecasts for you to view the latest indicators expected in the coming period. This does not necessarily mean that they will occur. We will continue to monitor updates from global maps as they occur during the coming period, God willing.
And God knows best.
