Jordan: Details of the Kingdom's exposure to a very cold air mass and its effects on the weather

This air mass is expected to cause a significant drop in temperatures, to reach their coldest levels since the winter season, with temperatures dropping during the night hours to around zero degrees Celsius in many areas, which creates the opportunity for frost formation in large areas of the Kingdom.

A very cold night is approaching the Kingdom, with temperatures dropping significantly.

During this night, i.e., Friday/Saturday night, there will be a noticeable and increasing decrease in temperatures, reaching its peak during the dawn and early morning hours of Saturday, with bitterly cold weather prevailing in various regions, with temperatures dropping to around zero degrees Celsius in large areas of the Kingdom, especially near the ground surface.

The opportunity is ripe for frost formation in many areas, especially the eastern plains, desert areas, and high mountain peaks, in addition to the possibility of some areas of the Jordan Valley being affected by frost, which may have a negative impact on crops, including agricultural areas located outside the Jordan Valley.

Saturday: Cold weather with scattered rain during the day in some areas, and very cold and stable at night with frost formation.

On Saturday, temperatures are expected to remain several degrees Celsius cooler than usual for this time of year, with cold weather during the day and low clouds, and a slight chance of light and limited showers in some areas.

During Saturday night into Sunday, the weather will become very cold again, with temperatures dropping to around zero degrees Celsius near the ground, and the chances of frost forming will be renewed during the late night, dawn and early morning hours of Sunday.

As for Sunday, the weather will remain the same, with very cold conditions prevailing in the early morning hours, and cold conditions during the daytime, with the weather returning to become very cold again during the nighttime hours.
