Jordan: Exceptional weather conditions that some areas are currently exposed to (thunderstorms, dust storms, and downwinds)

Weather of Arabia - Different parts of Jordan are exposed to exceptional and unusual weather conditions for the month of June, as the latest satellite images received at the Arabia Weather Center indicate that quantities of clouds continue to flow at different altitudes over the Kingdom, interspersed with some cumulus clouds, which are accompanied by precipitation. Showers of rain are in the form of muddy rain in some areas and may be accompanied by the occurrence of thunder sometimes in addition to activity in the speed of downwinds, and these weather conditions occur amid temperatures of approximately 30 degrees Celsius in a number of regions of the Kingdom and a warm atmosphere in general.

In a related context, the periodic report on air navigation issued by the Queen Alia International Airport authorities indicated that there was a significant decrease in the horizontal visibility range at 2:00 pm on Friday, when it reached only 900 meters as a result of dust storms.
