Weather of Arabia - The Ministry of Interior announced the referral of a tender to issue electronic Jordanian passports, in accordance with global international standards and the requirements of the International Civil Aviation Organization.

The Ministry explained that this is considered a qualitative leap in the services provided by the Civil Status and Passports Department to citizens, and at the same time ensures the facilitation of entry procedures for Jordanians through border centers of countries around the world.

The Ministry confirmed, in a statement, that the company sending the tender will begin its work in the coming days after obtaining the order to proceed in accordance with legal procedures, and the tender will be implemented within a maximum period of 50 working days.
