Jordan: Humid air currents on Monday as winter weather continues and the effects of the cold air mass recede on Tuesday.

Arab Weather - The latest computer mapping outputs from the Arab Weather Regional Center indicate that the Kingdom will be affected by humid westerly air currents, coinciding with the continuation of the cold air mass on Monday. Temperatures will remain within cold winter levels, and several degrees Celsius lower than their average for this time of year, i.e., by about 5 to 7 degrees Celsius. The weather will be cold and humid, especially over the mountainous heights.

Cloud cover is expected, with the weather changing from partly cloudy to cloudy, with the possibility of intermittent rain, God willing, in the north and center of the Kingdom, as well as parts of Karak and Tafilah governorates. Fog is expected to form over high mountainous areas as a result of low clouds passing through and touching the ground.

The winds will be moderate northwesterly, becoming particularly active during the afternoon and evening hours, causing dust storms in the desert areas and eastern plains.

Cold weather on Monday/Tuesday night, with continued chances of rain showers in parts of the north and center of the Kingdom.

During the night hours of Monday/Tuesday, temperatures will drop, and the weather will be cold to very cold, especially over the high mountainous areas. It will be partly cloudy in general, and there will be a chance of scattered rain in some northern and central areas during the late night and dawn. The winds will be westerly, moderate in speed, and may pick up at times.

The Kingdom will remain under the influence of the remnants of the cold air mass on Tuesday.

Temperatures will continue to rise on Tuesday, but will remain 3-5 degrees Celsius cooler than their usual average for this time of year. The weather will be relatively cold in many areas, with low clouds spreading and the possibility of random rain showers remaining, especially in the morning hours. Fog is likely to form over the high mountainous areas as a result of low clouds passing through and touching the ground. Winds will be moderate westerly, active during the afternoon and evening hours, and will stir up dust in the eastern and northern deserts and the eastern plains.

During the night hours of Tuesday/Wednesday, the weather will be cold with clouds appearing at various altitudes, and the minimum temperatures in the capital, Amman, will be around 5 degrees Celsius.
