Jordan | Increased activity of eastern winds accompanied by strong gusts that stir up dust and dirt in many areas

<p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"><strong>Arab Weather -</strong> The Kingdom has been witnessing, since Friday morning, active easterly to southeasterly winds at intervals, accompanied by strong gusts at times, causing a noticeable increase in the feeling of cold, especially over high mountainous elevations and exposed areas, which causes a decrease in horizontal visibility in many areas to range between 3000 and 5000 meters.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> God willing, in the coming hours, it is expected that the easterly to southeasterly winds will increase, so that they will be active in speed, accompanied by strong gusts exceeding 70 km/h, on the slopes of the mountain heights, especially the southern ones and the Shafa and Ghor areas, which will cause a noticeable increase in the feeling of coldness. The active easterly winds will also stir up dust and dirt in the desert and exposed areas, which will cause a decrease in horizontal visibility.</p>
