Jordan is investigating the crescent of the month of Ramadan next Wednesday evening

Weather of Arabia - The Secretary General of the Jordanian Ifta Department, Dr. Ahmed Al-Hasanat, announced that the investigation of the crescent of the blessed month of Ramadan for the current year will take place after sunset next Wednesday, corresponding to March 22, 2023 AD, indicating that the Ifta Directorates receive witnesses who saw the crescent with the naked eye.

Astronomical calculations indicate that seeing the crescent of the month of Ramadan will be impossible after sunset on Tuesday in all Arab and Islamic countries, including Saudi Arabia, due to the moon setting before the sun, and the crescent not being born, while it will be possible on Wednesday and therefore it is expected that Jordan will announce it, and on Thursday ( March 23) the first day of Ramadan.
