Jordan: Record high temperatures recorded, the highest in decades for the month of November.

The Arab Weather app issued a report stating that record temperatures were recorded for the month of November, on the afternoon of Wednesday, November 5, 2025, reaching nearly 32° Celsius in the east of the capital, Amman, making it a new record recorded in the official records of the capital, Amman, for the month of November, and thus the highest in decades, at least since 1999, i.e., more than 20 years ago.

The last time temperatures exceeding 30° Celsius were recorded was in 2016, when the maximum was recorded at 31.3. This had not happened since 1999, but this record was broken yesterday.

It should be noted that a number of unofficial weather monitoring stations have recorded higher temperatures in recent years, during the period when Jordan was affected by this relatively hot air mass.
