Weather experts at Arab Weather predicted that the Kingdom will be affected during the next few days by significant temperature fluctuations, with temperatures in Amman reaching 27 degrees Celsius on Saturday and Sunday, especially in its eastern parts, before dropping sharply and significantly starting from Sunday night, to reach only 10 degrees Celsius.
In detail, the Kingdom is expected to be affected on Saturday by the approach of a Khamsin low-pressure system, which will lead to a rise in temperatures and the dominance of generally moderate weather during the daytime, tending towards warmth in the afternoon. The eastern neighborhoods of the capital, Amman, are expected to record temperatures around 27 degrees Celsius, while they will reach about 35 degrees Celsius in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba regions.
The Kingdom will be affected during the early morning hours by a Khamsin low-pressure system, which will cause temperatures to remain similar to those of Saturday. This will be accompanied by active southwesterly winds with strong gusts, reaching speeds of 80-90 km/h in some desert areas. A dust wave will push across Egyptian lands to various regions, leading to a decrease in horizontal visibility to varying degrees.
Unstable weather conditions will also develop, with partly cloudy to occasionally cloudy skies and the possibility of thunderstorms in random areas, which may be heavy and accompanied by hail showers temporarily during the afternoon hours in some northern and central regions.
Starting Sunday night, the Kingdom will be affected by an unusually cold air mass for this time of year, causing temperatures to drop sharply by nearly 20 degrees Celsius, from about 27 degrees during the day to about 10 degrees at night in Amman. This will result in cold weather, necessitating the wearing of winter clothing and the use of heating devices.
