On Friday, January 9, 2015, the flow of very cold polar winds increased from Turkey to the region, and a frigid atmosphere prevailed in most regions, and snowfall renewed at intervals in many regions, and temperatures fell unusually low at night, as they fell below (- 5) degrees Celsius in Amman and Jordanian cities, and a widespread freeze prevailed in all regions.

6-The lowest elevation at which snow falls is the mountains of Aqaba, about 200 meters above sea level.
7-The highest amount of rainfall was in the city of Salt, where it reached 130 mm.
8-The highest wind gust speed reached 112 km/h in the Dabouq area.
Today, Sunday 1/7/2024, marks the ninth anniversary of the snow storm Hoda , with temperatures rising to around 20 degrees Celsius in the capital, Amman, which is 7-9 degrees Celsius higher than the general average.
