Jordan | The Ministry of Works announces work within the medium emergency plan today due to the expected air instability

Arab Weather - The Ministry of Public Works and Housing announced the start of work within the medium emergency plan from Tuesday morning, coinciding with the weather conditions expected to affect Jordan, according to information received from the Meteorological Department.

In a press statement on Monday, the ministry confirmed its readiness to deal with the expected weather conditions and to address the observations received within 24 hours through its 106 teams distributed in various governorates.

The ministry said that its directorates and offices in various parts of Jordan have been circulated to be fully prepared to face the expected weather conditions and to conduct periodic inspection tours of all regions.

And she indicated that the directors of directorates and offices working in the field were assigned to raise the emergency plan according to the need and developments in the weather situation.

In its circular, the ministry stressed the need for permanent and continuous coordination with the ministry's partners to work on solving and addressing all observations immediately to maintain the sustainability of services provided to citizens, in accordance with the government approach.

The ministry called for caution and caution, and to stay away from torrential streams and valleys in low-lying areas, especially the Dead Sea area, and to be careful while driving on external roads; Due to the possibility of reduced horizontal visibility due to dust formation.

It also called for not hesitating to report any emergency situation through direct communication with the main operations room in the ministry and the operations rooms in the governorates, or through the application of the works reporting system on smart phones or through its operations rooms on the following numbers:
