The storage ratio of dams that are used for drinking and irrigation purposes is very low, namely Al-Wehda Dam, which has a storage rate of 16.6% of the total storage capacity of (110) million cubic meters, and the Mujib dam with a storage rate of 3.3% of the total stock, while the storage ratio in the Wala Dam, which It is used for ground feeding 13.2%.

She indicated that the storage of dams used for irrigation purposes is as follows: King Talal Dam (46.7) million cubic meters with a storage rate of 69.7% of the total stock, Wadi Al-Arab dam (8.7) million cubic meters with a storage rate of 52.0%, and Sharhabeel Dam (1.8) million with a storage rate of 45.4% The Kafranja Dam (3.5) million with a storage rate of 44.3%, the Shuaib Dam (1.25) million with a storage rate of 100%, and the Kafrin Dam (6.7) million with a storage rate of 78.8% of the dam’s storage capacity.

As for the southern dams, which are used for irrigation, industrial uses and groundwater recharge, the storage rate in them is very low, namely the Tannour Dam, the storage rate of which is less than one percent, the Zarqa Ma’in Dam with a storage rate of 13.6%, and the Karak and Lajjun dams less than 12% of their total reserves.

It should be noted here that the total amount of rainwater that entered the dams from the beginning of the rainy season is about 47 million 790 thousand cubic metres.
