Jordan: Two players suffered heat strokes during the Ramtha and Al-Baqaa match today

Arab Weather - 3 players from the Al-Ramtha and Al-Baqqa teams were injured today, Thursday, while participating in a match that brought the two teams together at Prince Hashem Stadium in Ramtha, as part of the 17-year-old football league competitions.

The match was held at ten in the morning, in a high temperature, which caused the injury of two players from Al-Ramtha and one from Al-Baqqa with heat strokes, which required the intervention of ambulance personnel to treat the players.

The coach of the Ramtha team under the age of 17, Shadi Thiabat, said that the match was played in a high temperature, which caused the injury of 3 players with heat strokes, and immediate aid was given to them, according to what was reported by the Jordan News Agency (Petra).

Thiabat appealed to the Football Association to adjust the dates of matches and hold them in the evening hours, in an atmosphere suitable for football practice, in light of the noticeable rise in temperatures in the current days.

A source confirmed that the Football Association, after this incident, intends to make an amendment to the dates of matches that are held in the morning, to avoid players getting heatstroke.
