Jordan | Warning of an increase in dust density in the Kingdom's airspace during the coming hours

Arab Weather - Sinan Khalaf - The weather forecast team in "Arab Weather" warned of an increased concentration of dust in the atmosphere during the coming hours.

And the Kingdom is dominated by Khamseen weather conditions, so that the weather is relatively hot, dry, and dusty in most regions of the Kingdom, and it is even hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, and quantities of high and medium clouds appear at intervals. The winds are southwesterly, gradually activating during the day with strong gusts at times, causing dust waves to occur, especially in the Badia regions. It is also expected that the activity of the southern winds will raise the waves clearly in the Gulf of Aqaba.

Recommendations:

• Pay attention to the high levels of dust in the atmosphere and its consequences for eye patients and patients with the respiratory system, as it is advised to close the windows and not be exposed to dusty winds.
• Attention to the low and perhaps the lack of horizontal visibility in the south and east of the Kingdom as a result of sand storms.
• Attention from sea turbulence and high waves clearly in the Gulf of Aqaba.​
