On Thursday, active winds will be accompanied by strong gusts over mountainous heights and open areas, with a gust speed of 100 km/h, which causes the formation of strong dust waves in desert areas and roads, and includes opportunities for dust waves to form east of the capital, Amman.
It is expected that there will be a gradual decline in wind speed with Thursday/Friday night hours, to be moderate in speed and accompanied by strong gusts, but they will be less severe than the expected gusts during the day.
The Arab Weather Center warns of the danger of sand encroaching on desert roads, and it is advised to install volatile items from the roofs of houses and to pay attention to the danger of low horizontal visibility due to the density of dust in desert areas.
