Jordan: Weather details and temperatures for the first days of the 50-day winter season 2026

Temperatures will rise significantly, becoming about 5-7 degrees Celsius above average, and the weather will be less cold than in previous days, with a gradual increase in dust levels in the atmosphere in various regions and the appearance of medium and high clouds. The winds will be moderate southwesterly, becoming active during the afternoon and evening hours and causing dust storms in various regions with varying intensity.

Saturday and Sunday, February 1st and 2nd, 2026: The first days of the fifty-day winter period.
God willing, the Kingdom will be affected by an air mass with temperatures higher than usual for this time of year coming across Africa. Temperatures will rise significantly, becoming about 9-11 degrees Celsius warmer than usual. The weather will be moderately warm during the afternoon and evening hours, but dusty to varying degrees. Maximum temperatures will exceed 20 degrees Celsius in various regions, including neighborhoods of the capital, Amman, while exceeding half of it in the Jordan Valley and Dead Sea regions, especially the southern Jordan Valley.
