Jordan/Alert: Dense fog in the Queen Alia Airport area and a significant decrease in horizontal visibility

Arab Weather - Satellite images and official reports from Queen Alia Airport indicate that dense fog is currently forming in the eastern plains region and south of the capital, Amman, including Queen Alia International Airport and the outer roads. According to the airport report, horizontal visibility is currently dropping to about 100 meters only.

Therefore, we advise drivers and those returning from or going to travel to take the utmost precautions and reduce their speed when driving, especially on highways. It is recommended to pull over to the side of the road if horizontal visibility drops significantly and wait until the fog decreases in density.

It is expected that during the next few hours the fog will begin to gradually clear and horizontal visibility will improve, God willing.
