Arab Weather - Jordanians are preparing for a relatively long holiday, starting Thursday to mark the Islamic New Year and continuing through Saturday with the weekend. This gives them the perfect opportunity to spend three consecutive days of rest and relaxation.
Speaking of the weather, the weather will be relatively hot to hot across the Kingdom during this period, with temperatures rising slightly to become 4-6 degrees Celsius above average. Temperatures in the capital, Amman, are expected to range between 33 and 36 degrees Celsius, with generally stable, sunny conditions.
In the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, the weather will be generally hot during the day, with temperatures expected to reach between 40 and 42 degrees Celsius. However, this is ideal for swimming and water activities, with the need to be careful about prolonged exposure to the sun during peak hours.
Forecasts also indicate a decline in temperatures during the night hours, with moderate and pleasant weather prevailing in most areas, especially with moderate northwesterly winds that will add further moderation to the atmosphere during the evening and night.
