Arab Weather - The Karak Governorate Public Works Directorate dealt today, Sunday, with landslides that caused a temporary closure of the Karak-Southern Jordan Valley Road in the Rasis area, as a result of the prevailing weather conditions and heavy rainfall in the governorate.

The Director of Karak Public Works, Engineer Raad Al-Sahmat, confirmed that the landslides that blocked the road were cleaned and traffic was secured as quickly as possible, noting that the directorate’s cadres and equipment are in a state of full readiness to deal with the various weather conditions that may result from the depression.

Al-Sahmat called on citizens to exercise caution during the depression, and to avoid approaching floodwaters and valleys to preserve their safety.
