Iran recorded the highest temperature on Earth yesterday, reaching 49.6 degrees Celsius in the city of Omdurman. Kuwait followed with 48.9 degrees Celsius at Kuwait International Airport, while Iraq came in third with a temperature of 48.6 degrees Celsius at Basra International Airport.
