Lebanon | Unusually heavy rains block main roads in Kafr Habbab

Weather of Arabia - Tweeters transmitted through the social networking site Twitter scenes showing the severity of the unstable weather conditions that affected the village of Kafr Habbab in Lebanon, which caused unusually heavy rains that led to the flow of torrents from the highlands towards the low areas.

The circulated scenes show the flow of torrents through some main roads in a sweeping manner, while the Traffic Control Room reported a pool of water on the Jounieh Highway in both directions and on the sea road, pointing out that work is underway on treatment and the traffic is stifling in the locality.
