Arab Weather - The Kingdom of Jordan has begun to be affected by a new air depression from dawn today, Sunday, and is classified as a third-degree scale according to the scale of air depressions affiliated with Arab Weather.
As a result of the flow of cold polar winds coming from Siberia towards the region, the Kingdom is affected by a new air depression classified as a third degree and associated with a cold air front that gradually crosses the Kingdom during the day and the Kingdom is affected at night by the cold polar winds rushing behind it:
Sunday weather forecast:
- The frequency of the rains intensifies, so that this rain is heavy in the central regions, including the capital Amman, and causes the flow of valleys and reefs and a rise in the water level, especially in the low areas, and it may also form torrents.
- The rain is accompanied by hail and sometimes mixed with snow over the highlands.
- Snow is expected in the eastern Badia regions (Al-Ruwaished, Al-Safawi, the international road connecting with Baghdad, the Jordanian/Iraqi borders, Al-Dufyanah and Umm Al-Qatin) with accumulations in those areas as a result of the convergence of precipitation with polar winds.
- And before evening falls, snow is also expected to start falling and accumulating over the high mountains of Tafila Governorate.

- The Kingdom is affected by cold and dry polar winds rushing from Siberia towards the region, including the Kingdom.
- A sharp drop in night temperatures, which is below zero degrees Celsius in several regions of the Kingdom.
- The weather at the beginning of the night is very cold and fluctuating between partly cloudy and cloudy, with showers of rain, God willing, in the south of the Kingdom.
- Snow is also expected to fall and accumulate in the southeastern Badia regions, in addition to the peaks of the Karak Mountains and the peaks of the Shara Mountains, which include the mountain peaks in (Tafila, Shoubak, Wadi Musa, Mubarak, Ras al-Naqab, and Naimat villages all the way to the heights of Rum).
- With the midnight hours, showers of snow are likely in narrow geographic ranges in separate areas.
- And later during the night, the chances of precipitation weaken and the clouds decrease and the weather turns to become very cold in most areas and a strong wave of ice and freezing occurs in most areas, including the external and internal roads.
