Meteorological Authority: Weather warnings issued for Monday of thunderstorms and dust storms in 9 regions

The National Center for Meteorology issued a set of weather warnings, including parts of the regions of Makkah, Al-Jawf, the Northern Borders, Hail, Al-Qassim, the Eastern Province, Riyadh, Asir, and Jazan, as a result of being affected by active to sometimes strong winds that stir up dust, sand, and dirt, in addition to the possibility of rain in some areas.

These warnings will continue until 9:00 PM on Monday, June 1, 2026, with varying levels of warning between orange and yellow depending on the severity of the weather conditions in each region.

• The yellow alert for "blowing dust" includes: Al-Khafji, Al-Nairiyah, Hafr Al-Batin, Qaryat Al-Ulya, Jubail, Al-Khobar, Dammam, Dhahran, Qatif, Ras Tanura.

Riyadh region:

• The red alert includes: None.
• The orange alert includes: None.
• The yellow alert for "blowing dust" includes: Thadiq, Huraymila, Rumah, Marat, Dawadmi, Zulfi, Ghat, Majmaah, Shaqra.

Asir region:

• The red alert includes: None.
• Orange alert "moderate rain" includes: Rijal Almaa, Mahayil,
• The yellow alert for "light rain" includes: Al Namas, Balqarn, Tanomah, Al Harjah, Al Rabua, Al Farsha, Sarat Abidah, Dhahran Al Janoub, Abha, Ahad Rafidah, Khamis Mushait, Al Majardah, Bariq.

Jazan region:

• The red alert includes: None.
• The orange alert "moderate rain" includes: None.
• The yellow alert for "light rain" includes: Al-Harth, Al-Dayer, Al-Raith, Al-Ardah, Al-Aydabi, Fifa, Haroub.

The most prominent expected weather phenomena:

• occasionally strong winds
• Excited upbringing
• Reduced or near-zero horizontal visibility
• Light to moderate rain
