Meteorology: Weather warnings issued for 4 regions, including Jeddah, including rain, lightning, and dust storms.

The National Center for Meteorology issued weather warnings for several regions, including parts of the Makkah, Jazan, Asir and Eastern regions, regarding dust storms and suspended dust in some areas and rain accompanied by lightning and thunder in other areas.

These warnings will continue until 9:00 PM on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, with "yellow" warning levels in those areas.

Makkah Region:

• Orange alert includes: None
• Yellow alert "Blown dust and suspended particles": Al-Khurmah, Al-Muwayh, Turabah, Ranyah, Al-Khafji, Al-Ulya, Al-Nu'ayriyah, Hafr Al-Batin, Jeddah, Al-Shuaiba

Eastern Region:

• Red alert: None.
• Orange alert: None
• Yellow alert "blowing dust": Al-Ahsa, Al-Udayd, Abqaiq .

Asir region:

• Red alert: None.
• Orange alert: None
• Yellow alert "Light rain": Al-Harjah, Al-Farsha, Al-Rabou'ah, Sarat Abidah, Dhahran Al-Janoub, Al-Majardah, Abha, Ahad Rafidah, Khamis Mushait, Rijal Alma'

Jazan region:

• Red alert: None.
• Orange alert: None
• Yellow alert "Light rain": Al-Harth, Al-Dayer, Al-Raith, Al-Ardah, Al-Aydabi, Fifa, Haroub

The most prominent expected weather phenomena:

• occasionally strong winds
• Reduced horizontal visibility
• Light rain, lightning and thunder
