Meteorology: Weather warnings issued for Tuesday include 7 regions, including Riyadh and the Eastern Province

The National Center for Meteorology issued a series of weather warnings covering parts of the regions of Makkah, Madinah, Al-Baha, Asir, Jazan, Riyadh, Qassim, Hail, and the Eastern Province, as a result of being affected by active winds with strong gusts that stir up dust, sand, and sandstorms.

These warnings will continue until 9:00 PM on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, with varying levels of warning between red, orange, and yellow depending on the severity of the weather conditions in each region.

Eastern Region:

• Red alert includes: Hafr al-Batin
• The orange alert includes: Al-Ahsa, Abqaiq
• The yellow alert includes: Al-Udayn, Jubail, Dammam, Khobar, Ras Tanura, Qatif

Northern Border Region:

• Red alert includes: Al -Uwayqilah, Rafha
• Orange alert includes: None
• Yellow alert includes: None

Hail region:

• The red alert includes:
• The orange alert includes: Al-Shanan, Baqaa, Samira, Al-Hait, Al-Sulaimi, Al-Shamti, Al-Ghazala, Hail, Muwaqq
• Yellow alert includes: None

Al-Qassim region:

• The red alert includes : None.
• The orange alert includes: Al-Asyah, Al-Badai’, Al-Bukayriyah, Al-Thamiriya, Al-Shamasiya, Al-Ammar, Al-Mudhnib, Buraydah, Unayzah, Uyun Al-Jawa.
• The yellow alert includes: Abanat, Al Khabra, Ar Rass, Al Fawarah, An Nabhaniyah, Riyadh Al Khabra, Dhariyah, Uqlat As Suqur.

Riyadh region:

• The red alert includes: None.
• Orange alert includes: Thadiq, Huraymila, Rumah, Dhurma, Marat, Zulfi, Ghat, Majmaah, Shaqra
• The yellow alert includes: Diriyah, the capital Riyadh.

Tabuk region:

• Red alert includes: None
• The orange alert includes: Al-Muazzam, Tabuk, Tayma
• Yellow alert includes: None

Al-Qassim region:

• The red alert includes: None.
• The orange alert includes: Abanat, Al Khabra, Ar Rass, Al Fawarah, An Nabhaniyah, Riyadh Al Khabra, Dhariyah, Uqlat As Suqur, Al Asyah, Al Badai, Al Bukayriyah, Ath Thamiriyah, Ash Shamasiyah, Al Ammar, Al Mudhnib, Buraydah, Unayzah, Uyun Al Jawa.
• The yellow alert includes: None.
