Mount Arafat records the highest scorching temperatures globally, approaching 50 degrees Celsius.

Arab Weather - Mount Arafat recorded the highest temperature on Earth for this day on Saturday, the 6th of Dhu al-Hijjah, reaching 48 degrees Celsius, coinciding with the start of the transfer of pilgrims to the Holy House of God from Medina to Mecca.

The city of Mecca and Mina recorded 47 degrees Celsius, while Medina recorded 41 degrees Celsius.

The National Center for Meteorology issued a set of recommendations, including:

• Avoid direct exposure to sunlight, especially during peak hours (12-3 pm).
• Use umbrellas and stay in air-conditioned places as much as possible.
• Follow the instructions of the relevant authorities and keep up with the latest weather updates.
