Weather of Arabia - The Director General of the Jordan Electricity Company, Eng. Hassan Abdullah, said today, Friday, that the 1,860 electrical faults have been fixed, while 41 sites remain under repair on the low-voltage sub-networks.

He added in a press statement today, Friday, that most of the faults are due to electrical poles that were badly damaged due to the weather, and that work is underway to install new poles instead of the ones that were damaged and destroyed.

Abdullah pointed out that the company's cadres continued to perform their work in the field and at maximum capacity through its cadres of 2,163 employees and workers distributed in 37 operations rooms.

He said that the company apologizes and highly appreciates the subscribers' understanding of the difficult weather situation, and the resulting failures that resulted in some interruptions that are still in process, and that the company's cadres are working to restore them as soon as possible.
