Arab Weather - Computer forecast simulations at the Arab Weather Center indicate that the Sultanate of Oman and the UAE will be increasingly affected by a low-pressure trough midweek, causing unstable weather conditions and an increase in rain clouds over parts of the northern Sultanate and the eastern and southern UAE, God willing.
In detail, a trough of low pressure is approaching the Sultanate’s atmosphere on Wednesday, so that clouds will appear in most of the northern governorates of the Sultanate at high and medium altitudes, and the opportunity is prepared in the afternoon and evening hours for clouds to multiply and rain to fall on parts of the Al Hajar Mountains and neighboring areas, and these rains will be heavy at times and accompanied by thunder and hail at times, and the thunderclouds will extend to the eastern Emirates and perhaps some southern regions, leading to thunder showers of rain and hail.
On Thursday, the low pressure system will deepen in the upper atmosphere over the Sultanate, and cumulus clouds are expected to intensify over the Al Hajar Mountains and neighboring areas, in addition to the possibility of thunderstorms extending to some areas in the south and east of the Emirates. These clouds will be accompanied by rainfall of varying intensity, leading to the flow of valleys and ravines, and accompanied by thunder and hail at times.
And God knows best.
