The Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Petra Development and Tourism Authority, Dr. Suleiman Al-Farajat, announced that the number of foreign visitors who entered Petra today reached 4135, the highest daily number since the start of the Corona pandemic.

In a Facebook post, on Wednesday, he said that increasing the number of hotel rooms in Petra and starting the operation of the back road, the Bayda Visitor Center, the Heritage Village and other projects will increase the number of tourists and the duration of the tourist's stay, with a clear participation of all partners, led by the tourism sector and local communities.
