Riyadh | Red alert for heavy rain, lightning, and thunderstorms affecting 8 governorates

Arab Weather - The National Center for Meteorology issued a red warning today as a result of the continued impact of unstable weather conditions on large parts of Riyadh and the Kingdom tonight and tomorrow, Saturday.

It is expected that (Dawadmi, Afif, Al-Rayn, Al-Quway’iyah, Al-Zulfi, Al-Ghat, Al-Majma’ah, Shaqra) will experience heavy rain, strong winds, hail showers, thunderstorms, flash floods, and a lack of horizontal visibility due to the heavy rain.

The latest outputs of the numerical models available through the Arab Weather application and the outputs of the Saudi numerical model of the National Center for Meteorology still indicate that many regions of the Kingdom will continue to be affected by a rainy weather system of varying intensity.
