Arab Weather - Specialists at the "Arab Weather Regional Center" expect that weather fluctuations and chances of rain will continue in scattered parts of the southwest of the Kingdom during the weekend, as cumulonimbus clouds multiply and thunderstorms fall.

Areas covered by rain forecast for Friday and Saturday

The latest computer modeling outputs indicate that the chances of rain will include scattered parts of the highlands of Jazan, Asir and Al-Baha, and limited parts of Makkah and Taif. These rains are expected to be accompanied by lightning and thunder, and may be heavy in some narrow geographical areas.

The forecast team indicated that the chances of cloud formation and rainfall will be concentrated in the afternoon and early night hours, and that the weather will generally stabilize in various regions after that.
