Arab Weather – Sinan Khalaf – The latest reports issued by the National Center for Meteorology in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia indicate that the Kingdom will reach the peak of the Siberian high pressure system tonight, as the weather turns bitterly cold, and minimum temperatures drop to reach several degrees below zero Celsius in some areas.

The latest weather analysis indicates that temperatures during the early morning hours of tomorrow, Thursday, will be around zero degrees Celsius or lower in Al-Jawf, the Northern Borders, Hafr Al-Batin, the eastern parts of Hail and Al-Qassim, reaching the northern parts of the Riyadh region, in addition to Al-Qaisumah in the northeast of the Kingdom, which means that very cold weather will prevail in these areas.

This cold weather requires attention to:

• It is essential to use safe heating methods that do not cause fires or, God forbid, suffocation.
• The need to wear winter clothes appropriate for the cold wave that the Kingdom is experiencing
• Be aware of the increased risk of catching colds, influenza, and bone and rheumatic diseases.
