Weather of Arabia - Sinan Khalaf - The latest computer modeling outputs for rain forecasts indicate that many regions of the Kingdom will continue to be affected on Sunday 5/12/2024 by unstable weather conditions, so that the activity of cumulus thunderclouds will be renewed and showers of rain will fall with varying intensity as follows:

First: The western and southwestern highlands of the Kingdom

It is expected, God willing, from the afternoon hours that cumulus thunderclouds will begin to grow and develop over parts of the highlands of eastern Jazan, Asir, and Al-Baha, all the way to Taif and the highlands of the eastern Mecca region, and perhaps limited parts of the Medina region, accompanied by rain showers accompanied by lightning and thunder. It is not unlikely that it will be heavy at times and accompanied by hail showers.

Second: Thunderstorms in random areas including a number of regions

It is also possible that some cumulonimbus clouds will develop over parts of Al-Qassim, Hail, Hafar Al-Batin, and the far north of the Riyadh region, accompanied by descending winds and perhaps dust waves that may be followed by showers of rain of varying intensity.

Active winds blow dust north

Active northwesterly winds are also expected to blow across all regions of the north, including Tabuk, Al-Jawf, and the northern borders and beyond, accompanied by dust and dust and varying horizontal visibility, especially on external roads.
