Weather of Arabia - Sinan Khalaf - The latest satellite images show that parts of the Jazan and Asir highlands have begun to be affected by the development of cumulonimbus thunderstorms, at the forefront of unstable weather conditions that the region will witness.
In details, it is expected to flow towards the southwestern parts of the Kingdom during the coming hours with humid winds that will increase the activity of rain clouds, expand their area, and increase their abundance. They will be mainly concentrated on the highlands of Jazan and Asir, and may extend to include parts of Al-Baha and perhaps the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region.
