According to the center, the rainy situation is expected to include separate parts of the northern border regions, Al-Jawf, Tabuk, Hail, Qassim, Medina, Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Hafar Al-Batin, Jazan, Asir and Al-Baha. As is usual in such cases, the rains are geographically irregular and include regions without the others, and this does not prevent some regions from being exposed to heavy rains and hail for some times, which increases the possibility of valleys and reefs running off, and may form sudden torrents.

And according to what the output of the computer processing developed in the Arab Weather Center indicates, expectations of a deepening of a cold upper basin from the north during the coming days, and an effective response to the Red Sea depression and the rush of currents saturated with moisture in the different layers of the atmosphere, and this means the availability of many weather conditions. To form thunderclouds covering large parts of the north, center and west of the Kingdom, God willing.

The rain begins gradually in the afternoon and evening of Wednesday in parts of the northwest of the Kingdom and intensifies on Thursday

According to the latest weather readings, weather disturbances are expected to begin gradually with the afternoon and evening hours of Wednesday 04-23-2022 on the southwestern highlands, including Makkah Al-Mukarramah, in addition to several parts of the Tabuk region, including the city of Tabuk and western Al-Jawf, and these rains will be Mostly sporadic, and this does not prevent it from being abundant at times. And in the direction of the hours of Wednesday / Thursday night, and with the deepening of cold air in the center of the Red Sea and its encounter with a rush of warm air from the south, it is expected that marine graduations will form in the middle of the Red Sea and enter directly into parts of the coasts of Medina and south of Tabuk, which causes heavy thunderstorms. With strong winds in some neighborhoods, and it is not excluded that it will cause a rise in the water level and may form torrents, and it is expected that some rain clouds will affect parts of the coastal areas of Makkah Al-Mukarramah, especially in the late hours of the night, dawn and Thursday morning.

It is expected that the area of weather disturbances in the Kingdom will expand on Thursday, to include several parts of the northern borders, Al-Jawf, Tabuk, Hail, Qassim, Medina, and the southwestern highlands, including Makkah Al-Mukarramah and its coasts as well. Computer modeling has shown, with expectations, that the weather disturbances will be strong in some regions, especially in the western sector of the Kingdom, so that the rains will be of varying intensity and cause the flow of valleys and the formation of torrents in a way that may be dangerous at times, in addition to being associated with the occurrence of thunderstorms.

The cold air front moved south on Friday, and the rains decreased in several areas

According to the analyzes, it is expected that the cold air front will move south on Friday, so that the chances of rain will recede from most parts of the northern borders, Al-Jawf, Tabuk and Hail, with a drop in temperatures in the same areas, and it is expected that rain of varying abundance will fall on parts of the eastern border. Northern, Hafar Al-Batin, Al-Qassim, southern Hail, Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah, especially its south, in addition to the southwestern highlands, including Makkah Al-Mukarramah. It is also expected that cumulonimbus thunderstorm clouds will continue to multiply in the middle of the Red Sea and affect the coastal areas of Makkah Al-Mukarramah, including the city of Jeddah and the south of Medina.

Based on the above, there are a number of important recommendations that must be taken seriously regarding weather conditions during the impact of the condition:

• It is advised to pay attention to the dangers of torrential rains when thunderstorms occur, especially in the areas of valleys and slopes, where it is advised to stay away from the streams of valleys, reefs and streams of torrents, and this includes parts of several areas of the western coasts.
• Pay attention to the high percentage of dust in the atmosphere as a result of dust storms that occur temporarily and resulting from the downward winds accompanying thunderclouds.
• Be aware of the risk of lightning and severe thunderstorms by taking cover inside buildings.
• Installing outdoor belongings for fear of strong wind gusts during the passage and formation of thunderclouds.
