Saudi Arabia is the first in energy production in the world

ArabiaWeather.com - The International Energy Agency report was released to reveal that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is on the top of the list of the most energy-producing countries in the world, as the report indicated that Saudi Arabia produced 540 million tons of energy during 2013.

The report indicates that the Kingdom possesses 18% of the global oil reserves, and the oil and gas sector in the Kingdom contributes to 50% of the gross domestic product.

Russia occupied the second place in the list, producing 525 million tons of energy during the year 2013, with the need to point out that Russia is classified as the largest country in the world in terms of area.

As for the third place, it went to the United States of America, as the report showed that its energy production during the year 2013 reached 440 million tons.
