Weather of Arabia - Sinan Khalaf - A video clip circulated on the social networking site (x) showed the moment when a tornado formed in Khabat Al-Qahdah, east of Al-Shawaq, south of Al-Laith Governorate.

A tornado is defined as a violent vertical rotation of winds extending continuously from the thundercloud to the ground.

The formation of the tornado reflects the intensity of the weather turmoil that the region has witnessed since the morning hours as a result of the continued flow of tropical moisture in large quantities towards the region.
