Saudi Arabia | Sandstorms hit Al Sharqiya and there is almost no horizontal visibility in Al-Ahsa now

Weather of Arabia - In this praise, satellite images monitor the strength of the sandstorm that is currently affecting the eastern parts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, causing a near lack of horizontal visibility in some areas, such as Al-Ahsa.

According to the latest readings issued by the region’s airports, the level of horizontal visibility at Al-Ahsa Airport decreased to less than 100 m, as a result of the activity of the northwest winds, which are known locally as the Al-Bawareh winds.
