Saudi Arabia suspends domestic flights, buses and trains 14 days to reduce the spread of Corona

Today (Friday 20 March 2020), I decided to suspend all domestic flights, buses, taxis and trains for a period of 14 days, starting tomorrow, Saturday.

This is in order to complete the preventive and precautionary measures recommended by the competent authorities to avoid the spread and spread of Corona virus among citizens.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia also suspended the movement of buses in all its forms, except buses belonging to government agencies or public and private health facilities and facilities in addition to commercial establishments or those that are used for health and security matters.

In addition, it has been decided to stop and suspend the movement of taxis with the exception of those provided in the airports for air transport, and the activity of transporting individuals is limited to private cars that work with applications.

And the train service is suspended for all operators, the continuation of commercial transport trains and the continuation of transport ferries between Jizan and the island of Forsan with a reduction in the number of passengers to 100 people per trip, taking into account the employees and residents of Forsan Island, and not allowing travel through them for tourist purposes.
